Vintage-Inspired Champagne Lace & Tulle Cap Sleeve Wedding Dress
I loved my wedding dress! This is a tea-length gown (hits at or just above ankle length). I wore blue shoes and you could see them as I walked down the aisle.
I spun around in my dress and loved the way the skirt moved! I loved how unique this dress was, how easy it was to move around (it didn't feel heavy and I danced the day away!), and how flattering it felt.
The top bodice is beautiful lace with a scalloped v-neckline. No cleavage showed when I wore the dress. The sleeves are cap-sleeved and also lace.
The back of the bodice is also scalloped v-line with a back zipper and buttons. I had my female family members and bridesmaids do up a button for me when I was getting dressed, and it was so special. The bodice fits close to the body and there's a satin bow just below the waist. Below the bow is more lace that tumbles down the top portion of the skirt, which is full and I think tulle.
I had the sleeves "lifted" a small bit in alterations (I think just to fit better to my arms). I believe this was the only alteration. (We were going to add an extra piece of lace somewhere but I don't believe we did).
- The bust on the dress measures 20 inches from side to side, so the bust measurement is approximately 40 inches, and I wore a 34B size at the time.
I don't think there are any flaws or blemishes - there are no missing beading, tears, loose seams, or stains to my knowledge, and the dress has been professionally dry cleaned.
