This beautiful gown was a sample in my bridal shop which closed in 2018. It was tried on a couple of times then sold, so this is actually a replacement sample that was tried twice and never worn more than a combined 7 minutes.
This is an outstanding ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline. Very nice "spider web" alencon lace over high-quality satin. The sheen of satin shines through the lace in a gorgeous way. The lace pattern is unique and must have been designed as an exclusive offering for this design house (who has since gone out of business; for their poor business practices, not the quality of their work.) The hem is finished out in a delicate 'eyelash' scalloped lace trim. The train is stunning with almost 3 feet on the floor and the last 14" is unlined to show off the lace pattern. The lining is soft, comfortable and slinky. It drapes beautifully because it has a nice weight.
The fit is a hybrid of 'fit and flare' and a sheath presentation. It does fit close to the body and does have some flare, but not much. It features a 24" right front slit, which is alluring but still wedding appropriate. This dress would be equally lovely in a church, beach or country club setting. I would, however, be careful wearing it outside or on a snag-prone surface due to the webbing of the lace that may get caught on twigs, leaves, etc.
The gown is stunning with a sash, ribbon or belt. This is especially true if you want to create a visable waistline. This is a very flattering dress on. You will not be disappointed. In fact, you won't be able to contain your excitement once you see it in person. The gown was priced ar $1500 in my boutique, but am offering this brand new dress for $850.
